SimPro write
Dry run generates and records the code but does not write to the asset's Barcode field in SimPro. Keep on Dry run until the write test with Mullane IT is signed off, then switch to Live.
Label
Match this to the label stock loaded in the printer. Print at 100% scale, no fit-to-page. At 20 and 30 mm the label switches to a compact design, QR code and label code only, so it stays reliably scannable; these suit valves and tight spots and scan from about 10 to 15 cm. The larger sizes scan from further away and remain the better choice for plant in dirty or hard-to-reach positions. Print one test sheet and scan it with a phone before a big run.
Site reporting settings
Mullane-controlled reporting rules per site. People scanning stickers can never see or change these. Saved changes apply immediately.
Open reports · mark resolved
When a reported issue has been actioned, resolve it here. The asset goes back to Operational and reopens for new reports on its very next scan. Nothing in SimPro is changed.
Enter the SimPro Asset ID or the code printed on the sticker (e.g. 7QF9K2A1). Check shows the open report before anything is cleared.
Site overview access
One Mullane PIN protects the site overview for every site. When it is on, anyone opening a site overview must enter the PIN first. Individual asset pages opened from a sticker are never affected.
